Clients who obtain a positive Body Dysmorphic Disorder or Appearance Anxiety screening result in the process of cosmetic consultation may require a cosmetic readiness assessment.

A supportive assessment that explores psychological protective factors as well as risk factors for a client pursuing cosmetic surgery, used to inform their suitability for the procedure.

Minimum wait times
Ways to access counselling and assessment
You can access a Mental Health Care Plan via your GP. This provides 6-10 rebated psychological sessions per calendar year. You will need to visit your GP to discuss prior to your booked appointment.
Your private health cover may provide a claim rebate for psychological sessions. Check your private health cover to find out more.
Concession rates are available for individuals on health care cards or extenuating circumstances. Get in touch for a quote.
